When my friend and fellow ICFF mate, Kyra (of twenty2 fame) asked me to join a group of other designers in creating centerpieces
using alternative materials, rather than fresh flowers, I was happy to support the cause. The Wolcott is a beautiful and historic library, one of the oldest in the country. The centerpieces were auctioned at the Festival of Trees, their yearly fundraiser.
I used stems of raw cotton bolls wrapped in my white
Silk Primitivo rug and tied with leather lace.
